5. Cats

Cats are known for being able to see in the dark, but can they actually see color? Cats only have yellow cones therefore, they only see yellows and greys. However, their lack of cones is compensated with their over surplus of rods. As a result, they are less sensitive to changes in brightness than humans. They are also far better at seeing movement, this is why they’re able to survive in the wild and see objects in the dark. Moreover, cats have larger visual fields than humans due to their eye placement. As humans, we can only see 180 degrees but cats can see a total of 200 degrees.
